Notebook Reflection
How well does this page show your ability to organize your work?
This page shows that I am good at organizing my work, but at times struggle to stay consistent with my patterns of organization and understanding.I feel that I don't always take into account that I'll need to look back on the work I'm doing, and tend to rush and scribble when working out problems, which makes it less comprehensible in the end.
How well do you take notes?
I believe I take notes that I can understand, and depending on how focused and interested I am, the notes can turn out really good or semi-illegible. I think I am able to find main ideas and pinpoint important parts of whatever is the focus of the conversation, presentation, or lecture. I do think I could improve on the neatness of my notes overall and the consistency of that neatness.
How can you be more organized?
I can be more organized by writing the date and title of assignments each time and keeping a sort of consistency in the layout and set-up of warm-up questions, assignment work, and notes. It would help for me to be able to easily keep tabs on where everything is in my notebook so that I can quickly refer back if needed. This would be especially helpful when working on homework where prior knowledge in necessary, or studying for a test which reflects on older material.
How well do you keep track of your assignments?
I keep track of my assignments well. I am able to complete assignments and don't lose my work usually. I can complete work without needing to ask for extensions, but while still asking for help if I need it. I have a planner which I log my work that's due in, so that I don't rely on my forgetful memory for the list of what I need to get done. I find it useful, although I don't think I take full advantage of having a planner. It would probably be a good idea for me to start planning ahead more than one day when writing in my planner, which will hopefully lead to less procrastination and more structure, so I never feel out of the loop, rushed, or like I'm falling behind.
