1) What was your biggest accomplishment for this second recording? Why?
My biggest accomplishment would probably be being able to not only write out and create new sentences, and having them somewhat accurate, but also being able to practice and remember them throughout the recording. They came with ease shockingly and were quite easy to remember overall. I had a few slip ups and it wasn't perfect, but I could recall much more than expected. At first I thought it seemed impossible to both write out and memorize our own sentences. It ended up being a task I could accomplish, and I feel I did it well.
2) Were you able to speak Spanish for the entire video? What was difficult or easy about it?
As I recall, I was able to continuously speak Spanish throughout the entire video, and we were so into the conversation that we went over a few seconds before realizing we could stop. It was a bit easier than the other time because I'm more familiar with Spanish in general now, as well as the sentences and questions that I created. If I forgot how to say a question, I could simply remember the English and then quickly translate it in my head. This was only possibly because I not only memorized, but also understood what I was saying.
3) What grade would you give yourself individually? (0 being an F and 10 being an A) Why?
I would give myself an A because I believe I did better than last time, studied well, and completed a task that sounded nearly impossible at the beginning. There are always things I could improve on; speed, accuracy on pronunciation, correct use of words strewed together, and so on, but I feel I did well with what I knew and learned and didn't shy away.
4) What was your conversation about?
Our conversation was about school and our day to day lives. We didn't ask what our morning routines were, but more how school was and what we do after school. I felt the questions, for the most part, were on topic and all ran smoothly together.
