1) What was your biggest accomplishment for this second recording? Why? (2-3 Sentences)
My biggest accomplishment would be remembering what I could and taking lead when my partner couldn’t remember. I wasn’t always sure exactly what to say, but tried my hardest to make it as accurate as possible when I forgot or spaced on part of it.
2) Were you able to speak Spanish for the entire video? What was difficult or easy about it? (2-3 sentences)
I was somewhat able to speak Spanish the whole time. There were long pauses in between each sentence because we both forgot momentarily what was next to ask. I didn’t say anything in English and if so it was minimal. I didn’t speak perfect Spanish, but tried to recall the sentences and try to fit in words that somewhat worked if I forgot the right one.
3) What grade would you give yourself individually? (0 being an F and 10 being an A) Why? (2-3 sentences)
I would grade myself with a B because I took a step back from my previous recording. I studied, but expected that after a few tries I would magically remember, although that’s not how it works. I could’ve studied more and practiced with my partner as well. I feel like I also didn’t fully understand what I was saying, and instead was just trying to mindlessly memorize it.
4) What was your conversation about?
We talked about the city of Oceanside and what is in the city, and just other aspects. We did write somewhat hard questions compared to other groups and it was hard to remember more than five of the nine sentences. We talked about traffic in Oceanside, the expense, and different locations within the city.
